DAC Electric supplies new pump motor to replace the old diesel engine.

Water Authority Schieland en Krimpenerwaard keeps moving on with their strategy to automate their pumping stations by replacing the old diesel pump drive #3 for a new DAC Electric DirectDrive motor. Pumping station master U.G. Schilthuis is located at the ‘Oostplein’ in Rotterdam and marks in fact the endpoint of the Rotte.

The new DirectDrive motor is a low speed high pole squirrel cage induction motor with a rated output of 450 kW at 150 rpm. It means a torque of 28.650 Nm.
